Urgent Mission Records was born out of over 30 years of being in the music business. Our parent site is Digital Goatee Productions. We are a new Independent label that wants to make it possible for any and all to submit two to three songs. In the music business if you're an unsolicited submission, your music will never be heard. We listen to every minute of every song and give detailed feed back on every song you send, no long waiting time and we are available anytime by email or phone, or a bull horn if we are close enough to hear it.
I spent many years trying to get a major label to sign me, I knocked on doors and well, it was an unpleasant expierence.
I was approached by many song sharks and fakes, I will on a page the Q&A page gives a lot of details about the business, and what to watch out for.
We are a small family owned and operated business. My wife Peggy is my PR person and general office stuff, my 29 year old son does all the art work and graphics for digital Goatee and now urgent mission records, he does banners, custom artwork, logo's, CD art cover work, and web graphics .
Me, well I have been at this a long time, I am a Producer, Recording Engineer, mastering Engineer,A&R executive, Audio recording teacher, audio consultant, and a singer songwriter with over 1000 songs in my catalog. My stage name is Daniel Louis and also D'Abaldo.

We work with two to three artist a year, we use the internet to promote your music, make sales, get radio air play, and one day make you a house hold name.
Most Record Companies take 100% of your publishing rights, esp. if you are unknown and 75% if you are lucky, we take none, all the rights belong to you as it should be. We do not charge a dime for our services as also it should be, you provide the talent, we do the rest.
Our percentage is small 25% of merchandise and song sales that's it, you will get a dedicated webpage, and 24/7 web promotion, recordings, mastering, producing if you choose, advice, instruction, artist development, radio air play esp., on great internet radio stations and college radio stations. We work hard for our 25% and you will see the results you have our word on it.
